Principal solicitor
Grace is the Principal and Director at Q&L Lawyers, where she leverages over 10 years of comprehensive experience in property, commercial, and family law. Throughout her career, Grace has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of transactions, ranging from small-scale developments undertaken by families to high-value projects involving international enterprises. Her extensive expertise includes navigating complex shareholder disputes, bankruptcy cases, and various disputes in franchise agreements, commercial leases, and family law matters.
Grace's commitment to her clients is evident in her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to develop tailored strategies that meet each client's unique needs. She takes pride in her ability to demystify the legal process for her clients, guiding them through each step with clarity and confidence.
In recent years, Grace has also shared her knowledge and expertise as a regular guest instructor and presenter at Leo Cussen, a highly respected postgraduate legal educational institution. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Business (Accounting) from Deakin University. He is also an active member of several professional organisations, including: the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia (IPA) and the Law Institute of Victoria, which reflects his commitment to maintaining high standards in his professional practice and staying current with industry developments.
Beginning his career as a Tax Agent in 1976, Dominic has accumulated extensive experience in various legal and financial roles. He has lectured in law at the tertiary level, held corporate positions, and been involved in Litigation Insurance, enhancing his skills in risk management and dispute resolution. His expertise spans most areas of taxation and accounting, serving both small businesses and individuals.
Dominic’s background equips him to provide clients with a holistic approach to their legal and financial needs, believing that the legal and accounting disciplines complement each other in business and taxation matters. His dedication to client success is evident in his responsive and approachable manner, fostering strong relationships built on trust. SUMMER XIA

JOYCE CHENG
Solicitor
Joyce works closely with a diverse range of clients, from private individuals to small enterprises and franchises, providing comprehensive support on property issues across the board. She has developed a particular focus on leasing and property acquisition matters, where her in-depth knowledge and experience come into play to ensure her clients navigate these processes smoothly and effectively.
In her role, Joyce assists clients with guidance on property ownership structures and eligibility for the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) requirements. She is adept at preparing essential governing documents, such as Constitutions, Bylaws, and Trust Deeds, while also liaising with government regulators to facilitate compliance and streamline processes.
